• Sharon Marx

  DVM

  BS in Animal Science and DVM from Cornell University in 1991. Finished IVAS acupuncture certification course. Dr. Marx enjoys spending time with her husband Jim who is also a vet at Univ. of Penn, her 2 sons, Ben and Dan, and 2 dogs Bailey and Grid. "Veterinary medicine has always been a passion of mine even from the time I was very young. Being with small mammals brings me incredible joy. Alternative medicine was the icing on the cake after having a Golden Retriever, Miami, live an extra year with the help of acupuncture. I am honored and grateful to be an integral member of the family at VCA Animal Healing Center to have the opportunity to work with exceptional staff, clients, and pets every day!".

• Dr. Elana Braz

  VMD

  BS in Animal Science and VMD from Univ. of Pennsylvania in 1990.Took IVAS acupuncture certification course. Dr. Braz is married with 2 daughters. "My name is Dr. Elana Braz. I have been at the VCA Animal Healing Center since February 2002. I have been enjoying expanding my knowledge of holistic medicine at this practive and observing the special connections between the animals and their owners. I am a certified Reiki Master, and I enjoy any form of energy healing.".

• Amber Januszewski

  DVM

  Dr. Amber earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and her veterinary degree form Mississippi State University in 2010. She enjoys spending time with her fiance', her 2 dogs Dublin and Moxie, and her cat Fiv. "Hello, I'm Dr. Amber Januszewski! I started working at VCA Animal Healing Center back in January 2013. Previously, I worked at an animal hospital in Northeast Philly and one in the Allentown area. I came to VCA Animal Healing because I was very interested in alternative medicine :) . I have always loved animals and knew from a young age that a career as a veterinarian would be a perfect fit for me! Because I enjoy science and constantly learning new things veterinary medicine is a great fit. I love learning about alternative medicine and using both a conventional and alternative approach to help animals (and their owners)! I also really enjoy working with the wonderful Veterinarians, Technicians, and Receptionists at the Animal Healing Center.".
